Dance Attire

All Classes

Hair is neatly secured in a bun with all hair slicked back off the face for all classes.

3,4 & 5, 6 yr old Combo Classes (Ballet, Jazz & Tap)

Pink, tank style scoop neck leotard. Skirt optional.

Mondor 310 Ballerina pink tights (NO 314 convertible unless acro is a component of the combo class) OR pink or white ankle socks.

Pink leather ballet shoes with elastic, Capezio or Bloch.

Patent leather tap shoes. Please put a black elastic on the tap shoes so the students can just slip them on and off, as the ties always come undone.

Jazz classes

Mondor Style 1645 scoop neck.

Black jazz pants OR Mondor tan full footed or convertible tights.

Beige slip on jazz shoe by Capezio or Bloch ( chose the best fit for your child.) For younger students with a very slim ankle you can choose the beige lace up jazz shoes if needed.

Tap classes

Mondor Style 1645 Black scoop neck leotard

Jazz pants OR Mondor tan full footed or convertible tights.

Jazz or yoga shorts (optional)

Black lace up tap shoes

Lyrical/Contemporary

Bodysuit from ballet or jazz class.
Mondor Tan convertible or capri tights. Need capri for performance
Capezio Foot Undeez – beige or to match skin tone for performance, any colour for class.

Senior Lyrical- Canvas turning shoes, Capezio Hanami or Bloch

Acro

Body suit in color of choice.
Mondor tan convertible, capri or footless tights – feet are bare.
Hair must be in a bun so dancers can complete partner tricks.

Hip-Hop

Clothing that is easy to move in – t-shirts, tank tops, track pants, shorts are all acceptable.
Clean indoor runners

Hair pulled back in ponytail.

Ballet

All students must have their hair in a bun. If hair is too short for a bun, it must be secured away from face. No shorts, sweats, hoodies or shirts to be worn over ballet attire.  Ballet fitted sweater and/or leg warmers permitted in cold weather.

Preschool, Pre-Primary & Primary

• Mondor Style 1645 Pink scoop neck sleeveless leotard
• Mondor pink skirt
• Pink leather full sole ballet slippers with elastic – Capezio or Bloch
• Mondor Ballerina Pink Style 310 – full footed tights (NO 314 convertible tights)

Grade 1-5

• Mondor Style 1633 True Navy pinch front sleeveless leotard with matching elastic belt
• Grade 1-4 – Pink leather full sole ballet slippers with elastic – Capezio or Bloch
• Grade 5 – Canvas split sole pink ballet slippers. Either SoDanca SD16 or Capezio Hanami
• Tights – Mondor Ballerina Pink Style 310 or 314
• Black canvas character shoes for exam candidates. Low heel for Grade 1 & 2 and Cuban heel for Grade 3

Grade 6,7,8 and Vocational (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced)

• Black sleeveless leotard – any style (will need additional one for exams)
• Mondor Pink Style 314 convertible tights
• Canvas split sole pink ballet slippers. Either SoDanca SD16 or Capezio Hanami
• Pointe and soft pointe shoes (ONLY PURCHASED AT SHOE FITTING SCHEDULED WITH TEACHERS)
