Miss Shaye began dancing when she was three and danced competitively from the age of 7-17. During her competitive years, she trained primarily here at Creative Expression Dance Academy (formerly King Edgar Dance Studio). Shaye is experienced in various styles such as Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Street Jazz, Hip-hop, Tap, Ballet, and Acro. She completed high school at Central Memorial where she took the Performing Visual Arts Program for dance and received the Innovation Award for her choreography. Shaye also received her certificate for completing the Leadership in the Arts, where she learned about the creativity and depth of choreography and how to create movement in an effective way. Through the PVA program, she briefly trained in different styles such as West African, Vogue, Swing, and Latin. After high school Miss Shaye completed her Level 1 Acrobatic Arts Certification and started her teaching career.

Shaye has worked with many brilliant choreographers over the years and hopes to pass her knowledge along to the next generation of dancers. She can’t wait to teach and share her passion for dance and creativity with you all!
